PLAS ALLTYFERIN Carmarthenshire
B&B;
Come to Plas Alltyferin Country House for a warm welcome.
Stay on a 270 acre estate on the banks of the River Cothi,
located centrally in West Wales, providing outstanding bed
and breakfast accommodation for a short break or a longer
holiday. Enjoy the superb views of the Towy Valley nestling
within the unspoilt Carmarthenshire countryside.
There is much to see and do in the area: castles abound
- Carreg Cennen on its spectacular rocky crag, Dinefwr the
original home of the last indigenous Princes of Wales; Dryslwyn
very ruined but in a lovely position overlooking the Towy,
and further afield Kidwelly, Pembroke and of course the
Cathedral of St Davids and beautiful coastal Pembrokeshire.
Gower and its unspoilt beaches are also within easy reach.
The National Botanic
Garden of Wales and the restored garden of Aberglasney
are within 5 miles.
At Alltyferin itself there are lovely walks around the estate,
either up to our trig point or along the River Cothi which
runs through the property, or in the woodlands.
