SIMULATED GAME SHOOT
The Alltyferin Simulated Shoot is centred on
a section of the steep sided Cothi Valley, within our 260
acre grounds. The terrain gives perfect cover for the traps
and acessible stands for the guns.
Coffee and croissants are provided on arrival and the Guns
are given an introduction to the shoot. Lots are drawn for
the stands. During the day the 16 traps release over 2000
clays from both sides of the valley. The presentation of
these is controlled by our highly experienced gamekeeper,
who directly supervises the whole shoot. Thus ensuring the
variety of, and similarity to real game birds. Three drives
before lunch and three after (at different positions) ensure
that everybody has a good opportunity to get their eye-in.
A well earned home-made tea brings the day to a close.
Dates are flexible from April to August. Days are usually
organised around 8-10 guns, though private and corporate
group bookings are welcomed.
Please note that we operate only permit the use of fibrewad
cartridges(approx 200/day): available on-site at a reasonable
price. All participants must be members of BASC (or similar)
and hold personal insurance.
